Last weekend, Les Jounées Particulières of LVMH offered a rare glimpse into its renowned fashion houses, including Bulgari, Fendi, Emilio Pucci and so on. A new post about my Bulgari experience will come out soon. However, today I will share with you the experience I had in the AMOUAGE – luxury fragrance – shop in Rome. Additionally to the events of LVMH, the Luxury & Arts Club of SDA Bocconi organised some private visits at Federic Malle Boutique and Amouage Parfum’s Rome boutique in order to provide us with some interesting insights about the meaning of their heritage, metiers and talents behind their exceptional products.
To be honest, I’ve never heard about Amouage before, but as soon as I entered the store, it was pretty clear that Amouage pays tribute to the art of fine perfume making. The CEO, David Crickmore and their Creative Director, Christopher Chong are working on making out of the AMOUAGE brand, a brand that is contemporary and globally appealing.
Amouage portfolio comprises more than 34 fragrances with prices varying from 180 to 400 euros. Additionally to their fragrances, they offer also a bath and body collection and a home collection, but also some small leather goods accessories.
They have only 19 shops worldwide, but the brand is sold in more than 66 countries in the most prestigious department stores.
Amouge is a brand that appeals to sophisticated, confident consumers that are not afraid to stand out from the crowd by wearing something different and at the same time unusual.
The experience we had in the shop was enriching. We had the chance to smell the fragrances and to know the story behind it. The store manager took her time and gave us a delightful overview of every product.
If you have the chance to go to Rome, do not hesitate to take a look in the Amouage Store on 31 Piazza del Parlamento.
Enjoy your Sunday.
